“A place to escape everyday life”

Thanks for checking out The Scrappin’ Pad located in Kaw City, OK! My name is Liz Steichen and my husband Nick and I are the proud owners of The Scrappin’ Pad. As an avid scrapbooker, crafter and soon to be quilter, my goal is  to provide a place for friends and family to gather and share laughs, ideas and even make new friends. 

Don’t let the name fool you...The Scrappin’ Pad is not just for scrapbookers.  We are a place for quilters, crafters, ladies retreats and even just a weekend getaway from the kids and husbands!

The pad is a 2600 square foot, split level home, with all the main areas located on the first floor. Downstairs is a second TV room, two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a door leading to the patio. There is also a safe room on the lower level should weather be an issue during your stay at The Pad. We have sleeping and work-table accommodations for up to twelve guests and you can book as a single reservation or as a group.  And since we are about 15 miles North of Ponca City, Ok, Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart and some restaurants are not that far away! We do urge you to pay attention to the signs that warn of curves ahead as the road is very curvy and when it says “curve ahead” that’s exactly what it means.   

So come alone and meet some new friends or plan a group trip with 12 of your favorite people! I promise you will feel right at home no matter what your crafting passion is. Bring your supplies, pajamas and creative ideas for a fun filled weekend. I can’t wait to see you at The Scrappin’ Pad!
