Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to have 12 people in my group to schedule a weekend?
A: Of course not! We accept reservations for groups of any size! We can accommodate from 1 to 12. Just be aware that if you happen to book a group smaller than 12 you might be staying with another group of ladies. But don’t let that scare you because you might meet some new friends or learn a new technique!

Q: Can I come and stay for only one night?
A: To make it fair for all the guests staying during a weekend, we only offer two night stay retreats. This includes Thursday through Sunday. We understand weekends are busy for everyone and you are welcome to come and go as you please throughout the weekend.

Q: Can I stay an extra Night?
A: Of Course! An extra night is $25 and needs to be scheduled with your original retreat. This extra day does not include food.

Q: I need to cancel my weekend retreat; can I get my money back?
A: If you cancel prior to 60 days before your scheduled weekend we will provide a full refund of your paid balance. If you cancel less than 60 days prior to your scheduled retreat date you will not receive a refund. Please remember we try to prepare for your weekend stay early. This includes food, snacks, supplies, etc. Each spot that is “saved” is a spot we were unable to offer to another guest. Exceptions can be made at the discretion of the owners.

Q: How do we get in the house if no one is there?
A: We have a keypad on the door to the house and the week prior to your stay you or the host of your group will receive the “door code” to get in and out.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Pack just as if you were staying in a hotel! Bring your personal items including toiletries. We provide towel, beddings, extra blankets, paper goods, a fully furnished kitchen, etc.

Q: Do you have craft supplies?
A: Most guests bring their own supplies for crafting. We have electronic devices such as a the Cricut expression,  an onsite computer and  printer. We also have some basic supplies such as punches, cutters, stamps, cuttle bug (with lots of embossing folders to choose from), Sizzix and a Big Shot. We also have very generous guests that love to leave items to share. We will also have an onsite “store” that has a TON of goodies and basic essentials such as adhesive, stickers, embelishments and paper galore!

Q: All my friends are coming, can I just come on Saturday and craft for the day?
A: To make the weekend prices fair for everyone we only offer full weekend retreats. We often have several groups from different areas, and it is unfair to offer a discounted rate to someone local while everyone else pays full price.

Q: Do you have snacks and sodas?
A: Yes! The fridge is stocked with soda and bottled water. We also have a couple Keurig machines for tea and coffee as well as sweet treats, chips, and snacks throughout the house. And feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks or meals! There will be plenty of room in the refrigerator and kitchen for extra items!

Q: What is included in the food provided?
A: Dinner on Friday night (usually Pizza of your choice delivered), continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday,  Lunch and Dinner on Saturday. Menu for Saturdays meals will depend on the season.

Q: Are there any restaurants nearby?
A: Yes there are!  Ponca City is located about 15 minutes away with your normal chain restaurants and several others. Then there are a few other small towns nearby with those "hole in the wall" eating places. There is a book at The Pad with directions and numbers, including the nearest Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby.

Q: Is there a way to have the whole house to ourselves if there isn't 12 of us?

A: Yes, a flat fee of $100 can be paid to have the whole house to your group.

Q: Do you rent for different times other than the weekends?

A: YES! We are open to ALL ideas. Just check the calendar and if we are not booked call with your request and we will see what we can do!
